    Cloud Shepherd (previously known as Free Rein) is a trio based in Oakland, California. They specialize in soundtracks to an abyss.

    Andrew Joron operates the Theremin and waterphone. He is primarily known as a poet and translator. Joron’s most recent collection is “Trance Archive: Selected Poems” (2010, City Lights Books).

    Brian Lucas plays bass and various devices. He is a visual artist and a former member of Mirza. He has played with Caroliner, Big City Orchestra and James Bloodbeard.

    Joseph Noble plays percussion and wind instruments. He is also a poet and writer. His most recent book is “An Ives Set” (2006, lyric&). His first concert was Blind Faith.
