hello swirl This here's some damn strange stuff. Damn fine. Damn weird. Must here to believe, right hear.

Herein's a great, harsh-rhythm rendition of a smash hit to boot,
but Dishumana Res' "Shadowland" got biological gross going in a damn fine free-flowing trip of complex instrumentality. There's "Asphalt's Moans". Jeesh. What the hell. Damn fine song, but Hinton's "Rotator Cuff" is pretty darn cool.

An obscure many-hit wonder for the discerning listener is this audio magazine. Favorite track: Asphalt's Moans.

about

Up to this point of the release of Auricular Audio Magazine #5 the artists include don our compilations had included primarily San Francisco based artists and others who had recently re-located to San Francisco from other areas of the U.S. Volume 5 marked the first foray into international experimental music whilst still featuring many of the artists that were making the San Francisco "scene" shine. Besides the nternational offerings of Disumana Res and Eiaculazion Amusicale, a few strange collborations and several exciting solo pieces were presented. David Garder of Iaocore, and later Tipsy, played with Exterminating Angel - Chemical Toybox and Fresh Meat Cats cleverly melded minds and forces to bring us Chemical Sludge Cats - Robo of Big City Orchestre fame cranked out his special brand of noise/pop/retro/fun - Brook Hinton turned over two very uniquely diffferent pieces for inclusion. Also featured on this release was Mike Hovancsek who had been running his own small label, Pointless Music, at the time.
