about

Originally released in 1991 as a limited edition cassette of 100 copies. Recording has been remastered from original tape. This served as an exploration into the waking dream state and focused on trance like sounds and environments along with frightening aural hallucinations. Spindal Alpha was one of the earliest Nux Vomica releases and represents a more "industrial" time period in their work, however the dreamlike ambience they have become known for is still underlying in much of the work here.

There is some really dense droning analogue material with heavily treated percussion and found sounds - hypnotic and truly frightening stuff.

DO NOT operate an automobile or heavy machinery while listening to this recording!
